HKPM SHOWTIME! – The 24 Solar Terms
The ancient Chinese developed a highly sophisticated calendar to guide their agricultural activities and daily life. In this concert, award-winning composer Shirley Choi will take you through the twenty-four Chinese solar terms with original and rearranged music. Using orchestration techniques from both East and West, the nature-inspired melodies represent different times of the year and celebrate the wisdom of traditional astronomy.
