HKE Returns to the Hong Kong Palace Museum!

On August 25, 2024, Hong Kong Enharmonica makes a welcomed return to the Hong Kong Palace Museum. Our musicians participated in the HKPM Showtime Carnival with the program “Musical Delicacy,” delighting museum visitors!

In this musical feast, you will travel through time and find yourself in an ancient palace banquet. Through skilful fusion of Chinese and Western music, Hong Kong Enharmonica conveys a message of friendship and inclusivity to the audience, reenacting the grandeur of the Kangxi Emperor’s decree of “granting music, allowing each to showcase their talents.”

This collaboration intertwines Chinese instruments with Western melodies, showcasing the beauty of cultural exchange and integration in music. By collectively experiencing the joy and emotional depth of music, audiences forge deeper connections and witness China’s inclusive spirit and harmonious coexistence of world cultures.
